The Zamboni and Kubiatowicz Moving Company of Owatonna in the process of moving the music conservatory building of St. Mary's Academy from its location on Cedar Avenue north of Sacred Heart Church to its new location on South Oak Avenue, just north of the old brewery building. The Franciscan sisters had taught piano in the building, which was also the first convent and Catholic boarding school. The building needed to be moved to make room for the Marian High School and grade school. The house was purchased by Dr. Jos. Schaefer. Silvy Zamboni and Steve Kubiatowicz are facing the camera. |
