Description
|
| Rock Garden, East Rice Lake Street, Owatonna, Minnesota. The Rasmussens operated a truck farm on Rice Lake Street and developed a rock garden that recreated in miniature the gardens and scenes of the couple's beloved native land, Denmark. As many as 1500 people visited the showplace on Sundays. The property was sold in 1950.
On the back of the photograph is the inscription: "That's a lilypool - it's where the grainery was we tore that down last fall." |
