| The first Lemond Creamery building, built in 1892 and used until the second creamery was built in 1916. The wooden framed building had two wooden cupolas and a small smokestack. Three horse drawn wagons are waiting on the side of the building, two with milk cans loaded, A fourth wagon is in the background. One man is riding a horse, another man is standing in the window and two more men are standing closer to the door. The inscription on the back of the photo identifies the following, left to right: Rudolph Brocker, first wagon; Ole J. Olson, second wagon; Ellick Ellingson, third wagon; Lewis Munson, standing; Gust Hanson, on horse, Gilbert Johnson's foster son; Hans Stenvold, buttermaker, standing by door; Adolph Schmanski, helper, standing in receiving door. |
