| Minnesota 1950 Goodyear Soil Conservation Awards. The Steele County Soil Conservation District received first place. Governing body members, top farmers, and soil conservation workers pose proudly with first place plaques following the third annual awards luncheon in the St. Cloud Hotel, St. Cloud on September 19, 1950. Standing left to right are: Paul Buecksler, chairman of the governing body; Charles Belina, supervisor; Burton Chambers, supervisor of winning district and Minnesota president of Soil Conservation District workers; Frank Martin, conservation worker; Carl Hintz, supervisor; Orville Risser, conservation worker; and Robert F.
